In these crazy and unstable times, there are very few things we can count on to feel secure and better. When things start falling apart, one of the first things we generally do is go talk to a friend or try to escape what’s going on. Unfortunately, it’s getting harder to find someone that can listen and help you out since everyone has their own full plate. We can’t always count on the people or things that make us feel better.
There is one friend though that will never judge you, have no baggage, will always listen too you, and will know exactly how too make you feel better. That my friend is exercise. Whether it’s hitting the weights at the gym, going for a jog, surfing, or any other type of activity where you are moving your body and pushing yourself in a healthy way, it will ALWAYS give you a great dose of what you need and make you feel a whole lot better.
So the next time things aren’t working out the way you want them too and your usual support system isn’t available, meet your new best friend. It can be free (unless you belong too a gym), it will help you forget what’s going on, it will boost your confidence and self-esteem, it will re-energize you, and never turn it’s back on you. . . EVER. Give this new “friend” a chance. It could end up being one of your closest friends and will change your life.
